Elisabetta Benassi was born in Rome in 1966 where she currently lives and works. She has participated in three editions of the Biennale di Venezia (2011, 2013, 2015).
She participated in important international art shows including Manifesta (Frankfurt, 2002) and the II Biennale di Berlino (2001); Congoville, Middelhein Museum, Antwerp (2021); Midnight, Anozero – Bienal de Arte Contemporânea, Coimbra (2022).
